Barnsley Barbell was set up to allow for individuals and groups to train at a gym with barbells and use unconventional training methods. We have a range of functional equipment including sled pull on our astro turf, log press, slam balls, wall balls, kegs, sand bags and tyres to flip.
We also have some more specialist equipment including axle bar, football bar, trap bar and safety squat bar.
Barnsley Barbell also caters for individuals who want a private training setting. With our 1-to-1 sessions you will have the gym to yourself whilst being trained by a REPS Certified Personal Trainer.

Olympic Weightlifting Coaching
Olympic weightlifting is a fast paced and exciting form of resistance training. If you're looking for a new skill or challenge then get in touch to learn the Snatch, Clean & Jerk as well as assistance exercises.
Group sessions that focus on strongman lifts such as the log press, keg carries and farmer's walks to build overall strength.
