I have been a registered childminder for 4 years based in Blacker Hill, Barnsley, I have lots of experience with children of different ages as my family have been, or are currently involved in various types of home-based childcare. I have my own children who are 4 and 2 and I enjoy the challenges of parenthood. I aim to offer a fun and exciting environment where children learn and develop through the opportunities, experiences and activities available. My ethos for children's well-being is to provide healthy options with regard to food, activity and self esteem. I provide children with home cooked, healthy meals included in my hourly rate. I regularly attend play groups where the children in my care can interact with other children and learn through play. I have attended various training courses in order to advance my knowledge, including a Special Educational Needs course so that I am able to confidently provide care for children with additional needs.
