Leap Ahead Day Nursery
Leap Ahead Day Nursery is considered by OFSTED to be an 'OUTSTANDING' nursery in every aspect (April 2019), being managed by two graduate leaders both having Early Years Professional Status, Paula having an honours degree in Early Childhood Studies and Sheila also having a BSc.(Hons) with PGCE. All staff are qualified and Leap Ahead Day Nursery prides itself in having a friendly and very approachable staff team by both the children and the parents / carers. We value every child and their parent and key-workers are always interested and available to discuss children's current needs and further learning and development. We encourage parents to make visits with their children prior to starting the nursery and regard each child as an individual through this transitional period. This helps the child start to bond with their key-person, for sharing of information and for a relationship to be established with the parents / carers. OFSTED (2019) states, "Partnerships with parents are exceptional. Parents are highly complimentary about the educational support and exemplary care that their children receive. Parents describe how their children 'thrive in this caring and calm nursery environment'."
