YMCA Barnsley

YMCA Barnsley are an independent local charity that works for and with children and young people and their families. They deliver a wide range of children’s and youth work, extended services and members activities including table tennis, archery, and radio broadcasting. YMCA Barnsley aims to empower young people by involving them in activities that stimulate, challenge and enable them to realise their potential and participate fully in their communities.

YMCA Barnsley provide a safe and welcoming space and positive activities for children and young people and support them so they can belong, contribute and thrive in their communities. They provide affordable, quality facilities for other charities. YMCA Barnsley use the resources we have available to support those who are homeless and vulnerable. They have been an active part of our community since 1857 and we are keen to ensure a legacy for the future as a valued deliverer of services and facilities.
