I hold NVQ level 3 (Early Years Care & Education) and have completed the Level 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice. I get together with another childminder on a regular basis which gives the children in my care the opportunity to socialise with other minded children.
I have a grown up daughter and son and a 14 year old son at home, I also have an amazing 7 year old grandson who loves to come and meet up with the minded children during the school holidays

By using EYFS and next steps plus my knowledge of each child through daily contact
I will contact previous setting (if applicable)

I regularly talk to parents and find out how they prefer to be communicated with and act accordingly.
