TADS - Therapies for Anxiety Depression & Stress - (ages 11-18)

TADS specifically support young people struggling with:

  • gender and sexuality.

Anyone can be affected by mental health issues, and we will try and support everyone who comes through our doors.

You do not need to be involved with CAMHS to use this service; although if you are on the CAMHS waiting list you are welcome to join us too.

TADS offers workshops to increase knowledge of mental health and coping techniques.

In order to access these workshops you will need to pop along and register at one of our drop in sessions:

Tuesday 3.30pm - 4.30pm at Churchfield Court, Barnsley

Friday 3.30pm - 5.00pm at the Goldthorpe Medical Centre

We can also offer 1:1 coaching sessions to people who struggle in group sessions.

We also run a monthly LGBTQ group called 'Lets Talk About It' for anyone aged 14 - 16 who might be struggling with idenity issues, or just want to meet like minded people.

'Lets Talk About It' sessions are held 4.30pm to 5.30pm every Monday, we offer a relaxed, safe place where you can share your personal experiences, meet others who are transitioning, and help others who are questioning who they are
