Darfield Family Centre is a main site Centre and has an on site Nursey provision which provides childcare for children aged 2-5 years This was rated as Outstanding at its ofsted inspection.

Stay and play session - This session allows children 1 to 5 years of age to come along and socialise with others of the same age range or their main carer. Exploring and experimenting with different activities and resources. Getting to know others, helping to socialise and learning to share and Interact with people around them. Session day - Monday Session time -10-11.30
Busy feet -This session allows children 1 to 5 years of age to come along and socialise with others of the same age range or their main carer. Exploring and experimenting with different activities and resources. Engaging in physical movement activities and developing literacy skills through books and singing as well as getting to know others, helping to socialise and learning to share and Interact with people around them. Session day - Tuesday Session time -9.30-11
Tiny toddlers - This session allows children 0 to 2 years of age to come along and socialise with others of the same age range or their main carer. Exploring and experimenting with different activities and resources. Engaging in messy activities to enhance and help children develop skills through play, helping to socialise and learning to share and Interact with people around them. Session day - Thursday Session time -1-2.30
Barefoot and Senses – this session provides children aged 0-2 years a safe environment to explore Barefoot play Walking barefoot develops a sense of body awareness or proprioception, Feet and Toes are full of nerve endings; walking barefoot helps stimulate brain development co-ordination, balance and spatial awareness. Session day - Friday Session time -9.30-10.30.
Come along and join us at one of our groups, we kindly ask for a donation of £1.50 per family and this will cover the cost of snacks and resources.

Breasfeeding Group - this runs every Thursday 9.30am - 11am
Welfare Rights drop in session 1pm-4pm every Wednesday
CAB drop in service 9am-12pm every Wednesday
