Worsbrough Common Family Centre : Things to Do

What’s on offer at Worsbrough Common family centre?

The centre is situated within Worsbrough Common Primary School. We offer a wide range of services for Families and their Children and young people aged 0-19 years, 25 years with a disability.

Our centre is open all year round, closing just for Christmas, Bank holidays and training days.

The groups and services we deliver include:

Our Groups:

We have brand new and exciting programmes coming for September including new Baby & Toddler groups, one off workshops, joint working with schools and other services and plenty of time for your local Outreach Workers to be out in the community meeting you all, getting to know the areas and seeing what you all want to see at your local family centre.

For your Baby:

Baby Massage

Baby massage encourages and enhances the bond between you and your baby and creates special one to one time. It can also help babies who suffer from tummy troubles. This group is for babies from 6 weeks old and is delivered over 4/5 weeks.

Baby Yoga

As your baby grows they are learning to use muscles for the first time. Baby yoga promotes the use and strengthening of those muscles and helps to develop their physical development. This group is aimed at babies who are not crawling and is delivered over 4 weeks.

Weaning

This session is for families with babies coming up to 6 months and are ready to start introducing foods. We will give advice and answer any questions you may have.
