Victoria Day Nursery
Victoria Day Nursery is considered by OFSTED to be an 'OUTSTANDING' nursery in every aspect (April 2016) employing three graduate leaders. The Manager, Sheila, is a fully qualified teacher and also an Early Years Professional. She enjoys working directly with the children encouraging them to reach their full potential. The Deputy Manager, Paula, is an Early Years Professional and has a honours degree in Early Childhood Studies and a senior practitioner, Angela, also has an honours degree in Early Childhood Studies. All staff are qualified and Victoria Day Nursery prides itself in having a friendly and very approachable staff team by both the children and the parents / carers. We value every child and their parent and key-workers are always interested and available to discuss children's current needs and further learning and development. We encourage parents to make visits with their children prior to starting the nursery and regard each child as an individual through this transitional period. This helps the child start to bond with their key-person, for sharing of information and for a relationship to be established with the parents / carers.
