Local Offer

We are committed to meeting the needs of all children and are willing to undertake any training needed to meet the needs of individual children.
We have experience of supporting children with ASD and asperges. We have also regulary liase with speach and language therapist to supports childrens speech.

- How do we offer support to children or young people with a special educational need or disability?
Baseline assessment is carried out and children's development monitored by regular observation. Any children working below expected age range has small steps put in place and is referred for appropriate support.
Children will be supported as appropriate through 1:1 or differentiation of activities, resources or environment.
Each age range has age/stage appropriate planning that meets the needs of the current cohort.
Through daily feedback, weekly newsletters and termly key person/parent meetings.
A key person system is in place to ensure each child feels safe, welcomed and valued
Meetings are held between the SENCO, parent and any outside agencies
Parents are welcome to help out in setting and are kept informed about children's progress.

We have planned outings on an 8 week basis in addition to walks out into the community.
