Do you want to become a childminder?
Childminding allows you to work from your own home to provide care and learning opportunities for other people's children.
As a Childminder you will be self employed and running your own business. You will also be registered with Ofsted and be required to work to the same regulations as most other childcare settings.
More and more parents are looking for good quality childcare. We can support you in finding out if there's a need for new childminders in your area. You may also want to consider if there is a need for something different to be offered as more and more parents require flexibility to cover differing work and shift patterns as part of new models of working that are not based on the usual Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm routine.
In order to decide if childminding is for you please attend the 'Childminding is it for you?' information session. Call Families Information session to book your place on one of the session below.
Wednesday 22nd April 2020, 6.30pm to 8.30pm, Barnsley Town Hall
Wednesday 9th September 2020, 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Barnsley Town Hall
