Kelly Parker (Childminder)
I am Ofsted registered as 'OUTSTANDING' and hold a level 3 childcare diploma, meaning I am able to offer nursery education funded places (funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds). I also have various other relevant qualifications and continue to attend courses to keep myself up to date and to be the best I can. I also work with an assistant. I have a vast knowledge of childcare. I currently have children attending Hunningley Lane at Kendray, littleworth lane morning nursery and birkwood primary.
The setting offers lots of outings including day trips during the summer. We attend many local attractions, childrens areas etc. We have a dog, cats and fish in the setting and often visit farms, petting zoos etc so have lots of animal contact. We have a large garden with various outdoor toys including swings, trampoline, slides and ride on toys

We have experience with children with varied additional needs including but not limited to Downs syndrome, epilepsy, diabetes, autism, speech impediments, mobility problems, feeding tubes and more. We have level access to the property.
We offer support in transitioning your child to our setting by having settling in sessions. We ask for as much information as possible to help meet your childs needs including their likes and dislikes so that we can cater the care to the individual needs of the child.
We have a Special Education Needs Coordinator who can offer 1 to 1 care. Any care needs that arise that haven't previously been experienced will prompt staff training. All trips and outings are planned and risk assesed so that all children can be included.
We have all information on a password protected database where you will be able to access all information about your child 24/7 this includes the photographs and observations as well as updates. Using this you can see your childs activities and progress however we always offer a verbal breakdown of what each child does during their sessions.
