Barnsley Gender Equality Forum

The Gender Equality Forum looks at equality issues affecting women and men.

In 2013 and 2014 a group of people came together to plan an event to celebrate International Women’s Day and to launch, and subsequently to help develop, a Gender Equality Forum (GEF).

The focus to date has been on issues relating to sexual harassment, sexual and domestic violence, and gender inequality in employment. The Gender Equality forum are currently planning their activity for International Women’s Day.
