Dogs For Good : Assistance & Therapy Dogs for Children

What do they do?

Dogs for Good is a charity that supplies and trains assistance dogs for children in the UK. 

The also offer a really popular "Family Dog" workshop for Autism families, to help them get the most out of their family dog, or future family dog. The charity asks for a £60 donation to take part in the workshops and are delivered online.

Who can apply for a dog? 

Because there are so many types of disability any child who is diagnosed with any kind of impairment which severely restricts their ability to be independent may apply for an assistance dog.

Children’s applications can be taken between the ages of 7 - 16.
