Description

When children first start with us, we carry out an initail assessment in order to plan activities which are appropriate for the age and development of the individual, which will be in line with the EYFS curriculum.

We carry out 2 year assessments in which are shared with parents, and passed onto the health team. If these checks highlight any concerns, or you have any concerns about your child's development, we will arrange a meeting with you, where we will discuss how we as a setting can best support you and your child, and put an action plan in place in order to meet your childrens needs.

We encourage parents to share reports from health care proffesionals such as health visitors and speech and language therapists in order for us to plan appropriate activities for progression.

We have experience with working with children with autism, downsydrome and carrying out feeds through a Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG).

We are eager to attend any training that may benefit the children in are care, ensuring all their needs are being met. We encourage parents to discuss any needs their child may have, In which strategeis are put into place to ensure such needs are met.
